VED VIDYALAYA
The Guru Gangeshwaranandji Ved Vidyalaya Pratishthan was founded in the year 1984 at Gangeshwaranand Ved Mandir, Trimbak Road, Nashik at the auspicious hands of Bramhaleen Sadguru Shri Gangeshwaranandji. In the year 2000 the Ved Vidyalaya was shifted to Mahirawani a village which nestles in the midst of unique sylvan beauty and solitude. The School includes the study of all the 4 Vedas in its curriculum and hence 4 Ved scholars have been appointed for instructions in the same. 75 students have till now studied the Vedas and moned out of the portals of this institution.
This is a full time residential institute. The students are provided with food, clothing and a monthly scholarship. They are also provided facility for playing a variety of sports and they have a T.V. for entertainment whereas picnics are also arranged for the students. This the only school in the whole of India which imparts ved education to students respective of caste, creed, religion, or sex.
LIBRARY
The Ved Library was founded by Rev. Bramhaleen Gangeshwaranandji with a donation of about 1500 books and today the library boasts of more than 4000 books. Some of the books are copies from the British Library of London which are hitherto not available elsewhere in India. These books are useful not only to the scholars of the Ved Vidyalaya but also to the others who are interested.
VED PRADIP
With the blessings of Reg. Bramhaleen Gangeshwaranandji the monthly chronicle Ved Pradip became a regular feature from the year 1986. Initially the first 20 pages used to be in English but later on at the request of our readers all 40 pages were published in Hindi. The articles based on the Vedas are given special importance in the Ved Pradip. Informative articles about other religions like Buddhism, Islam, Christanity are also published. Along with this passages from the Dnyaneshwari and writings of Tukarama and the Quran are regularly published in their original form with their translation into modern Hindi. English translations of a few exclusively chosen articles published in the Ved-Pradip are available on the internet at www.vedpradip.com.
AUDIO VIDEO CASSETTE AND CD
There was a time when there were more than 1000 branches of the Vedas. But today only two branches exist. All these have been recorded in audio/ video cassettes & CD ‘s by expert scholars so that they can be seen and heard by generations to come. The chanting from the Yajurveda Madhyandin and Rugveda shaakaal have been specially recorded in studios so that those who hear it later will be able to hear the Mantras in a clear and correct voice and manner, 44 world acclaimed mantras have been selected from the 4 Vedas and recorded in the wisdom of Vedas cassettes along with these meanings in English & Hindi.
