It is stated in RIGVEDA, that it is necessary for every person, to carry out all his duties in life, bearing in mind, that GOD is the witness for it. Just as, we carry out some deeds, towards God, so also, we have some duties, towards the Society. The SUKTAS in RIGVEDA, state that the wealth of the Donor, never gets diminished –

"Ojasadasya --- Rodasi" | (Ru. 8 / 6 / 5)
"Vayvindrashcha --- Nishkrutam" | "Makshiv --- Nash" (Ru. 1 / 2 / 6)

Nobody can pacify a person, who has got a lot of food with him, but becomes harsh – hearted, towards the weak poor, who is badly in need of food, and whose heart does not melt and become compassionate, towards the afflicated person begging for help, but on the contrary, gets engrossed in his own luxurious, in his presence.

At present, the social system, is not based on the morale life, as described in RIGVEDA. There is neither fear of GOD, for any misdeed, nor there is gratefulness towards Almighty, for the good deed. The Vedas have listed, the mother, father, teacher, and the guest, in the category of Gods, as they donate something, to the person; and the Donor himself is recognized as God. In the Modern Society, there is complete absence of honour and respect, which is due, to the mother, father, teacher, and guest. Today, the man has completely turned his back, to his duty, towards another human-being. Those who are competent and rich, and have a multitude of wealth, have become harsh, selfish, and heart-less. Whatever acts were rejected, as they were corrupt, in the Vedas, have been accepted by the modern society, as a part of their pleasure and luxury. The sin and whoredom, has been disguised as decency. One is neither bothered about his errors, nor does he repent for it, in his mind, while the Vedas state, "Oh Almighty, if I have committed sin, towards the person loving me, if I have done wrong to my friend, if I have harmed my neighbour, staying with me, or any other person, please deliver my sin, and pardon me for transgressing the rule. "Aryamyam --- Shishrayastat" (Rigved – 5 / 85 / 7 ).

Our nation has accepted Democracy, after getting freedom. There as certain definite norms of Democracy, which, we are all bound to obey. For this, the leaders of the nation, prepared the Indian Constitution. The Government constitutes the laws, for including in the constitution. The obedience of laws, is a compulsion for all. While constituting the laws, much attention is paid, towards Social Aspects, religious faiths, principles of virtue, etc. The Society accords its consent to it.

The jumble at present, is that the leaders who frame the laws, themselves, disobey them. With the help of wealth, strength, deception and organization, they get engaged in breaking the laws, made by themselves. Copying them, even the population has no interest in obeying them. present. It is rightly said that, where the rule prevails, disorder, or injustice can prevail only partly and for a short time. The victory of the wicked and unjust, is not permanent, but on the contrary, the behaviour is fully of vices.

If we pay attention to the rule stated in RIGVEDA, we will find that ‘Rut’ is very important. The literal meaning of the word ‘Rut’ is proper, correct, unchanging and definite rule. ‘Rut’ presents before us, one standard of morality. This is the essence of the movement of objects, and it is the precision of things. Disorder is false, and untruth. On the contrary, those who follow the systematic path of truth, are gentlemen, sages.

The systematic behaviour, is known as ‘Satyavrat’ (view of speaking the truth). The firmness and association, are the main characteristics of religious life. Those who follow the truth and rules, stated in RIGVEDA, and behave in a proper systematic manner, as pointed out there, are known as ‘Satyavrati’. The question of transgressing the laws, never arises, in the Society formed by such gentleman. The elaborate description of virtuous life, is available in SUKTA of RIGVEDA. The duties towards the God, deities, religious deeds, and the human society, are fixed there. The good behaviour with the guests, has been given, a high rank, in Vaidic Suktas. The Vedas give a lot of importance, to the cordial, intimate relations between Deities and Human – beings.

In Vaidic Suktas, there are many topics, which give such a message of virtuous conduct, that if we behave according to that, the disorder anarchy, misconduct, unrighteousness, in the Society, will automatically come to an end, and all will obey themselves; their own (loaded) rules. The external ruling, is only the loaded one, and cannot be ever – lasting. The permanent administration will prevail, by self-control only, which we can attain, by the contemplation of VAIDIC SUKTAS.
