It is important to know what is known as Vedic India. As the world denotes it was the period when 'Veda' came into existence and India was under their influence. As far back as is known in history, 'Vedas' is the oldest of all books in the 'Rugved' library. Maxmuller, in his book,'Chips from the German Workshop' and also other wise men from the west, like wilson and Grifth, date the 'Vedas' far back to before 2000 B.C. Jacoby thinks the Vedic period was 4000 B.C. According to Shri Bal Gangadhar Tilak, after his interpretation of the 'Shatapath Bhramin', it goes back to 5000 years B.C. He made an anaytical study of the constellation of Mrugashirsha and calculated the time that was necessary for the kind of change that came about in the constellation regarding the position of stars in it. Mahabharat took place some 5000 years B.C. According to the historians which was the beginning of Kaliyug. Ramayan took place at the beginning of Dwaparyg. The span of time of Dwaparyug is twice that of Kaliyug. Kaliyug begins on 13 th February 3102 B.C. according to Shivram Vaman Apte. He has written this in his Sanskrit into English dictionary. He also writes that Kaliyug will go on for 4,32,000 years. This is the first era of Kaliyug , which is going on for 5,104 years. According to this calculation, Purushotam Shri Ram dates back to 8,69,104 years. The relations between Shri Ramchandra's contemporary philosophers, Raja Janak and Maharshi Yadnavalkya prove this time. Maharshi Yadnavalkya wrote the present book of Shatpath Bhramin. Even before that time there was some Bhraman of Yajurved, and notes about Shukla and Krishna Yajurved are found in reference to the Bhraman book. Maxmuller has given this reference in the introduction of Shatpath Bhramin. This kind of thinking leads the Shatpath Bhramin back to over nine lakh years. The highlighting of the Vedas in ancient. At that time the Vedic system was very mature and the Bhraman books which promote rituals were present in some form or the other. Vedas which support the Bharamin books and highlight the most developed time of the Earth cannot be dated back to any specific time and the age of the Earth which is about 1,97,29,49,104, might indicate the time.

Apprehension about the time:-

People who believe that the 'Vedas' are superhuman, believe that the 'Vedas' were already in existence from the origin of the earth, in an unexpressed form. There came a time when they were expressed, and that time cannot be any other than, when the earth was at its fully developed state, because only at such a time was man capable of perception, and this time was the origin of the earth. Before the expression of 'Vedas when man progressed instinctively, he took the expression of 'Vedas' in his stride; as in the Bhramin books, rituals and reason went hand in hand, so also in this expressed state along with the rituals, reason goes along.

We have to admit that all this pleading results in the cause and effect of the continuity of knowledge. 'Vedas' is another name for knowledge and incantation is inculcating, the eternity of 'Veda' and 'Bhramin books' is proved. Still we have to say that the 'Bhramin books' are inferior to the 'Vedas'. 'Vedas' consist of 1127 branches which indicate introduction to many customs. In the introduction of 'Bhramin books' is given the symbolic definition of incantation. To show performance of the process of deeds there is a message given to experiment incantation.

However, there is no mention about incantation in the 'Brahmin books'. There fore we have to believe , that 'Brahmin books' are inferior to incantation.

Differentiation between 'Vedas' and Brahmin books:-

There is a vast difference between the two. ' Brahmin books' are written in the form of lectures and so they are inferior to the 'Vedas'. The meaning of

'Brahmin' is one who acquires the 'Vedas '. when Man was capable of proving himself only through 'Vedas' he was not in need of any more elaborate books, but when his decadence began, then arose the need for such books. Everything in this world emerged automatically when the need arose for it to be there. When 'Vedas' emerged, the physical, mental and spiritual State of Man must have been at its highest peak because the psalms in the incantations of 'Vedas' of the God of wealth etc. describe in detail the solutions and gains from the incantations in a clear and simple manner. Man attained accomplishment by pronouncing the incantations or by inculcating the incantations. With the decline of Man, the effect of the incantations began to diminish; so to regain the power in the incantations, the Brahmin books found a solution to purify the deeds of man through 'Yadyna' , by making offerings to Gods through the medium of Fire. This is the aim of 'yadyna'. People try to reason out that any thing can remain distinct from its inherent qualities. 'Vedangs' are inherent qualities of 'Vedas' and are present in them not separate from them . Had they not been present in them, Man could not have gone through any 'development' so to say. There fore 'Vedas are eternally present along with their inherent qualities. The brahmin books are inferior to 'Vedas' according to the progress of knowledge. The saint Yask has described the development of knowledge.

Formerly, there were saints who could put the unexpressed form of religion into deeds. These saints introduced them to incantations through which they could also do the same as the saints; which proves that before the use of incantations the saints could accomplish religion through their. When people were fagged out by this counseling then the saints advised them to put into reality the science of the functional use of words. With the progress of knowledge, people said that the inherent qualities of 'Vedas' were implanted into them later on. When the decline of Man began, as per the rule of change, then for the sake of prayer and to arouse the divine powers lying within , the emergence of 'Vedas' came about. With the further decline of Man, he thought of ways and means such as 'Yadnya' to purify oneself and to achieve ability according to the principles of religion. Along this process further subsidiary books developed. When Man declined even in thought, it led to frustration and the 'Vedas' were written in myths like Mahabharat to induce the laws of life within him. Later Man began to thing of these books only as imaginary stories and discarded them. Then …. at his own discretion , he began a search and reached back to where he had begun. To the 'Vedas' .
