The Nation is above an individual. It’s culture , is supporting pillar of its literature,

Political, religious and social progress. The progress of an individual and a nation id a simultaneous process.

Individual with culture and values , only can bring about betterment of the nation. Man is a sculpture of thoughts. This sculpture takes its form according to the thoughts in mind. A good company, self enlightenment, noble thoughts are nurtured in ‘Home’ A child acquires values from the cultured parents and progresses in future.

In the ‘School at home’ the mother is the first teacher (Guru). Educated and cultured mother can solely up bring an ideal citizen of tomorrow.

The western countries also agree to this fact. They say, the hand that shakes the cradle is the hand that rules the world. Thus the mother can build up a strong nation, its government. The mother has played an important role in the development of the great people.

But from where do those noble values arrive? The source is vedic literature. It is the boundless knowledge and ocean of science from where these thoughts of pearls can be acquired.

An ideology for up building of a nation has an important place in vedic literature. It says that unity, brilliance and industrious efforts can build up strong, prominent nation.

According to the hymns of Atharvaveda, the person who is ready for sacrificing his soul, his body and his wealth for the nation, approaches the leader (the protector of the nation) & says, “Accept these for the benefit of the nation” is a virtuous and ideal person.

Oh, thou with great knowledge, great soul through whom the creator accepts everything; in the same manner you accept my offering on behalf of the nation.

To possess a nation a great strength is required. A selfless, intelligent person with a great power endures the Sun God. An ordinary person can’t do it.

To endure a God , one has to become God. To bear the responsibility of nation, one needs such a strength.

The people who uplift themselves above the personal benefits and are enlightened with the feel of ‘ betterment of all’ only can uplift the nation. They can serve the nation in the right sense.

Yajurveda, throws light on scientific varna system. It discusses the topics in making of a strong nation. It says that, the country in which lustrous Brahmins are absent, or there are no learned ones, it is the prime duty of the rulers to see that they invite sincere, learned personalities to settle in their country. This will result in progress of knowledge and remove ignorance from the nation.

New experiments are also essential. Along with the intelligent people the strong defence system is also necessary for security. Sanantakumar has aptly stated this in Chhandogya Upanishad – It says , might is greater than Science. A strong person can scare hundreds of scientists. So raise a troupe of strong people along with the learned. The warrior should be well versed in defence technology, they should be able to scare the enemy.

1) Let the country be full with animal like cows

2) Let the transport become easier with help of bullocks and horses.

3) Let the women be intelligent and posses a leadership spirit, if the nation needs one

4) Let the off springs be strong and wealthy, Let there be no scarcity due to draught or floods, Let the rain showers be according to our will. Let not there be any problem in earning the livelihood, be it safeguarded. Let the harvesting time be perfect and yield be ample.

The structure of a nation depends on the basic unit, ‘ the home’ or ‘the family’ The family having virtuous thoughts is the best family. The vedas have enlightened us in this respect.

In states that there should be a feeling of love between the people. There shouldn’t be enemity. The people should unite by with and heart. The example of cow’s love for the calf is unique. It is unselfish. An adult loves his son in expecting him to look after them in their oldage.

If the thought of giving out unconditional love dwells in the family, then only the nation thrives. The relationship between mother – father-son daughter-wives should be bounded by love and harmony. The harmony restricts the family from splitting. Goodnatured relationships, polite dialogue keeps the conflict at arm’s length. The knowledge which nurtures conflict, hatred, disintegration is not knowledge but is pure ignorance.

Vedas preach us- Be your minds enlightened and be your hearts consciously united. I make you aware that united efforts are necessary to obtain riches, for a family or a nation. Be prompt in giving and seeking knowledge.

Life if a struggle, you have to win it. Virtues and restraint are essential. To succeed in life the God has given us a prompt friend. The human soul has to develop friendship with the life.

Making friendship with life and guarding the possessed and striving for possessing more is the duty of a human being.

The almighty god helped in the struggle for life by creating 4 gods stand at the 4 directions to help you.

The friend ‘Pran’ has made Brahma-Amrut’ for you. If one can protect it, and can devour the Soma Rasa with his fellow beings than it may turn in to ‘Amrut’ otherwise the cycle of life and death entangles you.

The epics and upanishadas of the Brahmanas have depicted vividly about the struggles of life. They have described this struggle as a struggle or conflict between Gods and Demons . A continuos fight goes on between them sometimes we feel that God, are being defeated but finally they win. This is because God is on the side of truth (Dharma). It is an unwritten rule that falsehood never wins. The ‘truth’ only wins! is the rule.

The Shatapatha says God is truthful while man belies. The form of life ‘ Indra’ has to fight with the form of sins ‘Demon’ . Though the good thoughts, virtues are on the side Indra, unless and until he doesn’t get help of the God almighty (Paramadeo), he cannot win.

Recently, in the modern era the devilish powers are flourishing. This only shows that the man is living on false knowledge. To thrive for other human beings blood is ruthless. To forget the preachings of ‘Dharma’ the religion and to fight in the name of it is immaturity. For getting Ritumbhara Pradnya (wisdom of truth) and enforcing destruction is the picture seen today.

The truth religion, ‘Dharma’ means embedding good qualities, courage, forgiveness, firmness of mind, parity, lustlessness, making peace knowledge, truth and control of anger. Such a person is known as a true religious or pious person.

Forgetting these points and fighting in the name of religion is terrorism. Vedic Hymnas ask man to be a man. Inspite of any caste like Christianity, Muslim Sikh,Jain,Biddhist or Hindu. That means you become a noble man and strive for welfare of the world. Spread love, peace, mutual understanding, between the people. The preachings of the Vedas are for the betterment of world. A strong, peaceful nation can alone preach friendliness, sound relationship to the world, to bring about the ‘world peace’ , the global peace.

Nationalism in vedic literature believes in actually working out the ideas. It depends on the people. To understand Vedic (ideology) thinking for public, it is necessary, to study it, digest it, ponder over it. This ideology is the base of a strong nation. Vedic nationality is beneficial, sacred, peaceful and pleasant.
